Eligibility Criteria for RITES Recruitment 2025:-
Candidates applying for the RITES Recruitment 2025 must meet specific eligibility requirements depending on the post. Here’s a detailed overview:
Educational Qualification:-
Trade Apprentice: ITI Pass-out (full time)
Diploma Apprentice: Engineering Diploma (three years full-time Engineering Diploma)
Graduate Apprentice: Engineering Degree (BE / B.Tech/B.Arch) (four years full- time degree) Non-Engineering Graduate (BA/BBA/B. Com/B.Sc/BCA) (three years graduation)
1: Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the merit list formed on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification applicable to the respective trade. There will be NO written test or interview.
In case of two applicants are having same marks, the applicant having older age
shall be placed higher on the merit list.
2: The minimum qualifying marks shall be 60% in aggregate for General / EWS
and 50% in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved positions.
Wherever the essential qualification specifies marks secured in Honours subject,
the same will be considered for eligibility; else the aggregate of marks of all
subjects will be considered for eligibility.
3: The essential qualification applicable to the respective trades shall be from a
recognized University / Institute in relevant discipline, duly recognized by UGC /
AICTE (for Degree / Diploma) or NCVT / SCVT (for ITI).
4: Following candidates shall be NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for Apprenticeship
(cut-off date being 17.11.2025):
i) Candidates awaiting result for the Essential Qualification on the cut-off date.
ii) Candidates NOT completed 18 years of age as on cut-off date.
iii) Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship Training earlier and/or
pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 as
amended from time to time.
iv) Candidates who have undergone training or has job experience for a period
of one year or more after attainment of essential qualification.
5: Candidates completing the Essential Qualification of Engineering/ Non
Engineering Degree / Diploma (final semester result date) prior to
17.11.2020 (i.e., five years).
In case of ITI, there is no restriction in the year of attainment of essential qualification.

🏆 Selection Process for RITES Recruitment 2025
- After receipt of online applications from respective NATS / NAPS portal and
verification of documents submitted through RITES Application Form, the Merit
list of candidates shall be prepared based on the eligibility / selection criteria
detailed at above. - Based on the available vacancy, shortlisted candidates shall be informed
through e-mail from apprenticeship@rites.com to join within a stipulated time
(the list shall also be uploaded on RITES Website at https://www.rites.com): - The candidates will have to carry original documents for further verification at the
time of joining only.
NO physical / hard copy of the documents to be submitted at this point of time. - Vacancies not filled through initial shortlisting process shall be considered to be
filled by eligible & qualifying candidates from subsequent merit list.
💡 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
i. RITES shall have no obligation to offer employment to Apprentices during and/or
after the completion of the apprenticeship period.
ii. The duration of apprenticeship training is only for one year and shall not be
extended.
iii. Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS and PwBDs shall be as per the
provisions of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and further amendments.
RITES Limited, being a Central Public Sector Undertaking, is governed by Central
Government guidelines as far as reservation is concerned and accordingly
reservation for various categories has been applied.
iv. The selection and deployment of Apprentice Trainees will be subject to detailed
provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961. The contracts with candidates thus
selected, will be generated under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme
(NATS) / National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) Portal.
v. Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of
educational qualification and other eligibility criteria before applying.
vi. Any corrigendum/addendum etc. or updates with regard to this advertisement
shall be made available on our website www.rites.com only. Candidates are thus
advised to periodically visit our website for all future correspondence and latest
information.
vii. The decision of RITES’ Management shall be final and binding on all candidates
on all matters related to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications,
mode of selection and cancellation of the selection process either in part or full,
etc. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats
is solely at the discretion of the RITES’ management based on suitability of
candidates and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not
filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates. RITES’ Management
reserves the right to cancel/ restrict/ enlarge/ modify/ alter the selection process
for apprentice positions at any stage, without issuing any further notice or
assigning any reason therefor.
viii. Mere selection in empanelment shall not confer any right of engagement to the
applicants.
ix. Candidates applying within the last date mentioned herein shall only be
considered for further selection process.
